What is Novus®?

Novus® is a completely new product category, not an e-cigarette, and not a nicotine replacement product. Familiar in look and feel, but completely unique in taste and experience. Novus® was developed with a scientifically designed formula of natural flavors, spices and botanical tinctures. The BotanicBoost® formula was designed to effectively engage the sensory system associated with cigarette smoking.  Novus is available in 100% paper-based Novus Twig® as well as the electronic Novus eTwig®.

In a situation where smoking is not permitted a Novus® Twig is the only option. You don’t light it, just draw in on it like you normally would. How does NOVUS® work?

Novus® engages the same sensory factors associated with smoking, such as the habit of bringing a cigarette to your mouth and inhaling, otherwise known as Oral Fixation. Novus® provides a level of satisfaction that is obtained via our patented BotanicBoost™ technology.

As a smoker draws on a Novus® Twig and eTwig, air pulls vapors from our proprietary formula, which is nebulized (no liquid or liquid particles enter the mouth when puffing) and combines them with additional oxygen (no tobacco involved) thus providing a warm and effective throat hit along with a stimulating yet calming effect. The sensation effect and the great new aroma and aftertaste allow smokers to comfortably use it regularly throughout the day .

When using a Novus®, simply draw in like you normally do to your level of satisfaction — DO NOT LIGHT. There are no special functions or manipulations required. A typical use is 4-7 inhalations and then replace back for next use. The performance of  Novus Twigs is similar to a light cigarette, or low nicotine e-cigarettes (6 – 12mg or 0.6% – 1.2% nicotine by weight). So for those that prefer that performance, or desire an alternative that most closely matches a cigarette in look and feel, or find themselves in situations where cigarettes and even e-cigarettes are not allowed, the Twig may be the choice for you. The performance of Novus eTwig is similar to a full strength cigarette or Bold e-cigarettes (18 – 24 mg or 1.8% – 2.4% nicotine by weight). So for those that are familiar and comfortable with vaping, or who want a stronger throat hit, or want a product that can last for up to 400 puffs, eTwig may be the choice for you.
